The restaurant is open daily from 14:00 to 24:00, apart from Tuesday, when it is closed. At the Lalibela you can sample a beautiful selection of tasty Ethiopian cuisine, including a delicious choice of meat and vegetarian dishes. The enjoyment of our guests is of great importance to us, and great care is taken when preparing the food, so that you will be able to enjoy a true Ethiopian experience. On the first Saturday of every month we have a buffet special with 15 different dishes, where you can come and enjoy some delicious Ethiopian cuisine and also enjoy some live traditional music. We also serve coffee. You must make a booking. Tsehai and Elisabeth have created a truly unique and authentic setting at the Lalibela restaurant, and everyone who comes here to eat always leave with a happy and full stomach, and a smile on their faces. Elisabeth studied as a fashion designer in Ethiopia, and in 2005, decided to arrange a fashion show at a central Athens hotel. This fashion show was a huge success, and this is now something that is arranged and takes place every year. The Lalibela Restaurant in the Kipseli region of Athens offers a fine selection of tasty and unique Ethiopian cuisine, and has been operating at the same location since 2000. The restaurant was started by Tsehai who was guided and advised by Elisabeth, who joined Lalibela a year later in 2001.
